If you are considering purchasing a frequent drive enclosure, you really should absolutely think of this item. The main purpose I chose this item was that I had 3 SATA drives in my old laptop or computer. With an enclosure you're sort of limited to 1 drive. All I had to do was plug in my drive in the slot and within minutes I was retrieving all my old data. It will probably not be the most aesthetically pleasing remedy but it functions. My drives do get a small warm when they are in there but it is not a large deal. Another point I like is that it supports both laptop and desktop drives.
I've under no circumstances owned a Kingwin item ahead of so I was pleasantly surprised that it worked really nicely. Hugely suggested!
I just ordered a second a single of these. I use it primarily to feed MP4 video to my Roku via USB. Also fantastic for shuttling big files from one computer to one other. Overall exceptional construct quality for a modest outlay of dollars. It is a substantial unit and supplies a stable platform for your tricky drive(s). Five stars!
